| General Estate Sale information for customers: 1) On the first morning of the sale, you may encounter a line to enter the sale. We put out a sign up sheet the day before (sometimes earlier), where you can sign up to get a number for entry for the first few hours of the sale. You must sign up by 8 am the morning of the sale, one number per person in your group, and you must be in line at 8am to get your number. Numbers are called at 9am. Once numbers are all given out, we start letting in people in line behind the numbers. Numbers are given out to help streamline the traffic through the house. It is possible that all numbers will not get in the sale at 9 am, depending on the size of the home. Please remember to be courteous to those waiting as well as the staff, we will call your number as soon as we can. 2) Holding area is limited, bring a see through bag to carry the items you want to purchase around with you. Unfortunately, due to the increase in theft of small items from our Estate Sales it has now become necessary that all bags will be monitored. Thus, only clear bags or baskets will be permitted into the sale. Please keep large handbags in the car. We appreciate your cooperation concerning our losses. 3) If you are buying furniture, appliances, or other heavy items, you may pay and return later during the sale to pick them up. You must bring extra help with you. 4) Items are all priced before the sale starts. All items are full price the first day of the sale, Friday. On Saturday at 9am, we will start to discount with all items less than $49.99 being 30% off and items more than $50 are 20%. The next level discount is after 2pm on Saturday. Depending on the sale, we may start to discount earlier or later and the client may not be willing to accept a price on a certain item or two, but we do our best to stick by these guidelines. 5) Estate sales are supposed to be fun! So have fun! |
